Genieten in de Veluwse natuur – Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Sparrenhorst-Veluwe

Toplocatie op de Veluwe

Nog altijd is de Veluwe voor mij het mooiste plekje van Nederland. Wanneer ik hier mag slapen maakt mijn hart altijd een sprongetje. De Veluwe staat voor mij gelijk aan puur genieten, rust en volledige ontspanning. Met het prachtige Belvedere bos voor de deur is Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Sparrenhorst-Veluwe met recht een toplocatie te noemen.

De moderne entree is geheel in Halloween stijl met vrolijk gekleurde pompoenen en kastanjes. De vriendelijke dame achter de receptie legt uit waar ik mijn kamer kan vinden en boekt meteen een tafel in het à la carte restaurant voor diezelfde avond. Mocht ik zin hebben om te zwemmen of te sporten kan dat hier allemaal. Er is een mooi verwarmd zwembad met sauna én een complete fitnessruimte. Ideaal als je even lekker wilt ontspannen of de nodige calorieën wilt verbranden.

Logeren tussen het groen

Ik heb een mooie comfortabele kamer op de begane grond van Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Sparrenhorst-Veluwe. De kamer is sfeervol ingericht en heeft een leuk terras tussen het rustgevende groen. Ik kan helaas niet buiten zitten, maar ik kan me goed voorstellen hoe fijn je hier zit als het zonnetje schijnt. De kamer is van alle gemakken voorzien, met een extra ruime tafel en twee stoelen. Ik vind dit een groot pluspunt, zodat je hier zelfs nog een spelletje aan kunt spelen. De badkamer is ruim en heeft een lekkere douche met de bekende Fletcher Blue Collection producten.

À la carte in de natuur

Die avond geniet ik van een uitgebreid 3-gangen diner in het à la carte restaurant. De sfeervolle inrichting is op de natuur geïnspireerd en biedt uitzicht op het groen. Het eten smaakt voortreffelijk en de bediening is ontzettend vriendelijk. Heb je na het eten nog zin in afzakkertje of een speciale koffie? Bestel dan iets lekkers in het aangrenzende Grand Café en het grote genieten gaat gewoon door. Fijn dat mijn favoriet, Chai latte, hier ook verkrijgbaar is!

Uitgerust ontbijten

Ik heb heerlijk geslapen en geniet in het sfeervolle ontbijtrestaurant van een uitgebreid lopend buffet. Ook hier is weer van alles aanwezig om je dag goed te beginnen. Denk aan warme croissants, scrambled eggs, diverse broodjes, verschillende soorten beleg en vers gesneden fruit. De ontbijtzaal is ruim opgezet en door de natuur geïnspireerd met vrolijk geschilderde vogels op de muren. Na het uitchecken in Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Sparrenhorst-Veluwe wil ik natuurlijk nog wat van het schitterende Belvedere bos zien.

Belvedere bos

Vanuit de poort, aan de zijkant van het hotel, wandel je zo de aangrenzende natuur van de Veluwe in. Het Belvedere bos is heuvelachtig en telt ontelbaar veel wandelpaden. In het hotel zijn diverse wandel- en fietsroutes in de omgeving verkrijgbaar. Vraag hier dus gerust naar bij de receptie. Ik geniet hier intens van de rust!

Hanzestad Harderwijk

Een andere leuke tip die ik je mee wil geven is de oude Hanzestad Harderwijk. Ik bezocht Harderwijk voordat ik naar Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Sparrenhorst-Veluwe ging. Ik slenterde door de oude straatjes, ging lunchen bij Restaurant Dikke Dirck en wandelde over de boulevard langs het Veluwemeer. En wist je dat die andere toffe Hanzestad Elburg ook maar slechts 10 kilometer van het hotel vandaan ligt?
